HOW WE CAN HELP YOU
Please scroll down to the next section of this page to see how we can help you to take care of your pets, and how we will be with you every single step of the way as you embark, and continue, on this journey.
We will help you to regain, and maintain, your independence with taking of your pets by accommodating your physical, cognitive, and/or mental health condition(s) within the comfort of you and your pets' home as well as making environmental modifications to your home.
We can address:
We can take care of your pets so that you can focus on taking care of yourself while you are recovering from an injury or illness so that you don't need to choose between following your doctor's orders and keeping your pets. We can also take care of your pets so that you can focus on taking care of yourself while you are going on a vacation or staying in a hospital, inpatient rehabilitation facility, or skilled nursing facility.
We will make sure that not only all of your pets' physical needs but also all of their social and emotional needs are met. We will stay in touch with you every step of the way. And we will send you pictures of your pets eating and/or playing so that you know they are doing well.
We can address:
- Feeding your pets
- Administering medications to them
- Bathing and grooming them (including trimming their nails)
- Walking and/or playing with them
- Maintaining records on them

We will provide you with all the support you need to find the newest addition to your family. We will help you get your home ready for your future pets' arrival. We can help you with ordering food and other supplies as well as making required and recommended environmental modifications, which will help ensure that they will be happy, healthy, safe, and sound once they arrive. We will advocate for, and collaborate with, you by serving as one of your references when you submit an application for an adoption.
We believe that it is your right, not a "privilege", for you to keep your pets as long as you are ready, willing, and able to take care of them. As experts on whether you are able to continue taking care of them, we are in the best possible position to stand up for you and your pets' right to stay together. We can collaborate with your doctor for your pets to be recognized as emotional support animals which will provide extra protections. We can explain the value of you keeping your pets to others who may question its importance such as among various staff members at your independent or assisted living facility who need to regularly, or occasionally, enter your apartment. And they incorrectly assume that you're "Too old" and/or "Too disabled" to have pets.
Helping You to Take Care of Your Pets
Transporting You and Your Pets
What services we Provide
Helping You to Recover from the Loss of Your Pets
We will accompany you during appointments when "it's time" for your pets to unfortunately, but necessarily, be put to sleep, and we will continue to support you afterwards until you're ready to adopt your next, perfect pets.
Helping You to Adopt Your Next, Perfect Pets
Advocating for You and Your Pets
We can transport your pets to and from appointments within the greater Burlington area. This service also includes getting your pets in and out of their carriers so you don't need to worry about them scratching or biting you.
We love doing arts and crafts such as drawing and painting, knitting and crocheting, card making and scrapbooking, T-shirt making and jewelry making, decorating, and even baking such as making cookies that are shaped like cats and dogs. These "purposefully distracting" activities will ultimately help you reduce your sense of loneliness.
